Fire Roasted Humus

Lately, our little foodie has been diggin’ the “dippy, dippy” sauces. This is a fast and fantastic way to make a healthy and fast “dippy, dippy”. Some recipes call for blending after each ingredient one at a time. When you have a toddler, the last thing you want is to run the blender a million times. If the little people are awake, they’ll want to play with the machinery! If they’re asleep, you’ll be sorry. Enjoy this fire roasted humus dip!

Ingredients

  1. Lemon Juice  – 1/3 c.
  2. Tahini – 1/4 c.
  3. Olive Oil – 2 Tbs.
  4. Garlic Clove – 1 or 2
  5. Cumin – 1 tsp.
  6. Smoked Paprika – 1 tsp.
  7. Water – 3 Tbs.
  8. Fire Roasted Red or Yellow Peppers – 2
  9. Garbanzo Beans – 15 oz.
  10. Paprika & crushed pistachios – garnish

Directions

  1. Place ingredients 1 thru 9 in a blender and mix until smooth.
  2. Place in bowl and garnish with smoked paprika, garlic, chopped peppers or crushed pistachios.

 

Refrigerate what isn’t used!
