Easy Old World Crock Pot Chicken Thighs

My Electronic Sous Chef

There are days when I’m all “ordered out”, don’t want to cook, but want to eat something healthy at home. When that feeling creeps in, out comes our trusty slow cooker, aka our electronic sous chef. I like to make a big batch of these thighs and use it over salad, serve as a main dish or as a filling to tacos, burritos…you get the idea. This Easy Old World Crock Pot Chicken Thighs is a versatile favorite in Our Cookery. Depending on how many thighs you make and how it’s served, this recipe fill 6 to 8 hungry bellies.

This will take you 5 minutes to prep and should be ready in three hours on high. One of the keys to any dish is the spices used. I have linked the ones I use for this recipe below. I’ve also linked a couple sides that go well. Save the broth for chicken soups or chili dishes!

This will make a lot of broth for later dishes. Great to use as a base in chicken soups, chili dishes and gravy.
